In early 2014, pupils from Gilcomstoun, Riverbank and Seaton Primary Schools worked with Aberdeen City Council's recycling team and the Reading Bus to create three animations about recycling.
The animations focus on textiles, waste electrical equipment and food waste. These are some of the fastest growing but least commonly recycled waste streams. But all of these things can easily be repaired, donated for reuse or recycled in Aberdeen and these animations aim to remind people of that.
The other animations in the series, about how to recycle paper, glass, plastic bottles and cans, were created in 2011 and 2012 with schools in Torry. Watch them on our Recycling Animations page.
