Totally Ballroom

Main Ballroom Maintenance
February 2010 will see the replacement of the Main Ballroom floor and carpets.
The Canadian maple sprung floor, which is a hit with all visitors to the Ballroom, will be completely lifted and new maple will be set onto the existing springs to ensure that the floor remains one of the finest in Scotland.
While these works are underway the Beach Ballroom will remain open and events will take place in the Star Ballroom, Northern Lights, Reception Room and Boardroom. Only the Main Ballroom will be closed.
We apologise for any inconvenience this may cause and look forward to welcoming you back to our refurbished Main Ballroom in April 2010.

Welcome to the Beach Ballroom, a special venue which has been foremost in the hearts of Aberdonians since it first opened it's doors in 1929.
In this the Beach Ballrooms 80th year we have an exciting line up of events planned for you to enjoy both in our spectacular Main Ballroom and our more intimate Star Ballroom.
Since the Beach Ballroom was built early last century it has seen many changes but still intact is the dance floor one of Scotland’s finest – it floats on fixed steel springs which gives the dancers that extra bounce when dancing within the Ballroom.
Within the Ballroom complex are the Northern Lights Suite and the Star Ballroom that individually can accommodate a wide variety of events.
We can provide a complete catering service from tea and biscuits for 25 to a formal dinner for 600 and our Catering Managers will be only too happy to show you round and discuss your individual requirements further.
