Aberdeen Cross City Transport Connections Study
These pages provide information on this key transportation study to undertake an appraisal of sustainable transport connections between a number of development sites in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire.
This study is currently being funded by NESTRANS, the Regional Transport partnership for the North East of Scotland and Aberdeen City Council. The purpose of the study is to examine transport connections between new areas of development on the periphery of Aberdeen, and in areas of Aberdeenshire close to Aberdeen City, with the aim of providing viable, attractive and direct linkages, as an alternative to the private car.
The study will be carried out using standard Government assessment methods and in particular will adopt the approach set out in the Scottish Transport Appraisal Guidance (STAG).
