Driveway Application

Some driveways require planning permission before they can be built.

They will give advice on the criteria required for a driveway and whether the driveway will require a planning application.

You may also be required to apply for a dropped kerb/footway crossing - please see the related links to the right.

If no planning application is required they will advise if the driveway is acceptable with regard to our standards.

Please note: As of 1st April 2011 there is now a charge for all driveway applications of £60+VAT (£72) payable to Aberdeen City Council and must be included with all application forms. Please note this applies to successful and refused applications.
