Street Description Start and End Date

Diversion

Colthill Road Closed between its two junctions with Colthill Crescent. An alternative route will be available via Colthill Crescent. The restrictions are necessary for public safety during a street party to celebrate the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee. 3 June, 2012, between 11am and 8pm  
Sclattie Park Closed between its junctions with the A96 and Kepplehills Drive. There will also be a prohibition of waiting at any time on the same stretch of road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The restrictions are in the interests of public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. Monday 21 May, 2012, for up to two weeks. An alternative route for vehicles is available via the A96, Old Inverurie Road, Kepplehills Road.
Kingswood Drive Closed between its junction with Kingswells Avenue and a point 50 metres south of this junction. There will also be a temporary prohibition of waiting at any time on the same stretch of road. The restrictions are necessary to protect public safety during sewer connection works for a new pharmacy. Monday 4 June, 2012, for up to one week. An alternative route is available via Kingswells Drive.

Riverside Terrace

 

Closed from Holburn Street to Crathie Gardens East. Waiting prohibited from Holburn Street to the eastern gable of number 2 Riverside Terrace. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The restrictions are for public safety during sewer connection works for a new housing development.

An alternative route is available via Riverside Drive, Riverside Place and Holburn Street.

Hammerfield Avenue

There will be a temporary prohibition of access for the entire section of road south of Broomhill Road.  The measure is necessary to protect public safety during construction works. Until the 13 June 2012. Pedestrian access to the former Deeside Railway Line is available via Ruthrieston Road or South Anderson Drive.

Scott Cassie Circle 

Closed from the southernmost point of its turning circle, northwards for a distance of twenty-four metres. The same length of road will also be subject to a prohibition of waiting at any time throughout the order. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during works. 30 May 2011 for a period of one year.

Wellington Road

Subject to a 30mph speed restriction, between its junctions with Cove Road and Wellington Circle. The measure is necessary to protect public safety during road development works. 27 February 2012 for a period of twenty weeks.
 Water Lane Prohibition of access between its junction with Mearns Street and the access to the electric substation on Water Lane. The measure is necessary to protect public safety due to falling debris from a neglected tenement. Until further notice. An alternative route for pedestrians shall be available via Mearns Street.
Wellington Road

Southbound lane closure at its junction with Greenwell Road. The lane closure is to allow traffic to safely exit Greenwell Road while Greenbank Road is closed for resurfacing.

Tuesday 8 May, 2012 until Friday 18 May 2012.  
C128c Kirk Brae Closed between its junctions with Ladyhill Road and Countesswells Road. Access to properties will be maintained, but no through traffic will be possible. The closure is necessary in the interests of public safety during drainage works. Tuesday 8 May 2012, for up to two weeks. An alternative route is available via Ladyhill Road, Baillieswells Road and Blacktop Road or Countesswells Road, Craigton Road and Friarsfield Road.
Coronation Road Closed between its junction with North Deeside Road and School Road Access to properties will be maintained but no through traffic will be possible.The restrictions are necessary in the interests of public safety during carriageway resurfacing works. From Wednesday the 9 May, 2012, for up to two weeks.  An alternative route is available via North Deeside Road and School Road.
Balmoral Terrace Closed to traffic between its junctions with Broomhill Road and Holburn Place.  A ban on waiting will also be imposed on the east side of the same length of road. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during deliveries to a building development and the closure will only be imposed when deliveries necessitate. All day on Wednesday 25 April 2012 and Friday 27 April 2012, and from Mondays to Fridays between 09.30am and 12.00 noon for six months thereafter.  An alternative route shall be available via Holburn Place, Balmoral Place, Broomhill Road or vice versa.
A95 Wellington Road Subject to a 30mph speed restriction, between its junctions with Charleston Interchange and Souterhead Road  Lane width restrictions may also be in operation. The measures are necessary to protect public safety during road development works. 27 February 2012 for a period of twenty weeks.
