Parking Permits

Parking permits are available for residents and businesses in Aberdeen City. The prices for permits are:

• 1st Resident Permit - £80
• 2nd Resident Permit - £120
• Business Permits - £160 or £200

Resident's and Business Exemption permits are only valid for use within On street Pay & Display ticket/voucher and permit bays.  Permits are not valid for use in 45 minute zones, single/double yellow or any other type of parking restrictions e.g. loading only bays.

Prices can vary according to the Parking Zone. You can download the application forms from the section to the right.

Alternatively, visit the Marischal College Customer Service Centre where you will be able to collect the form you need and apply in person for your permit. You will be required to provide evidence of your residency.

Important information: permits for Old Aberdeen are currently being reviewed. Information relating to Zone R is no longer valid. This Zone is being replaced by Zone RR. Download a copy of the Old Aberdeen/University Zone RR street entitlement list.

If you are waiting for a renewed permit there is a 10 day period of grace after the expiry of your existing permit. This takes into account any delays for processing or issue of the permit.
