Skills Bank - Employability Services and Learndirect Centre
The Skills Bank offers a range of free services to individuals wishing to find Employment or improve their skills using our Learndirect Centre. These facilities are funded by Aberdeen City Council and operate out of 82 Spring Garden, just off George Street in the City Centre of Aberdeen.
The services on offer at the Skills Bank include:
- Telephones
- Fax machine
- Photocopying
- Network of Computers - bookable in advance
- Internet Access
- Weekly local job papers
- Support, advice and assistance on employment issues
- Training through our Learndirect facilities
- A typing service for CVs is also available
Staff are on hand to offer help and guidance on:
- Your job search
- Writing a Curriculum Vitae
- Interview questions and techniques
- e-mailing, and general computer usage for employment

The Learndirect Centre at Skills Bank
The centre offers over 200 different Learning Bytes courses including Introduction to Computers, Business and Management Skills and courses relating to particular industries such as Care, Hospitality and Construction.

- Tuesday: 9:30am – 12:30 pm
- Wednesday: Closed all day
- Thursday: 9:30am – 12:30 pm
- Friday: Closed all day
