About the City Events Team
The City Events team are responsible for the planning, co-ordination and delivery of the Council's annual Festivals and Events programme within the City of Aberdeen. They also offer support and advice to a wide variety of other events organised within the City.
Examples of events the team directly deliver are Aberdeen's Highland Games, Freedom of the City Ceremonies, Aberdeen's Tartan Day, British Armed Forces and Veterans Day and the Winter Festival.
The team are able to provide help and advice on all aspects of event management and can offer support for your event by attending any planning and/or site meetings (this may incur a charge).

If you or an organisation you work with would like to have an event posted on our 'What's On' web site, please send details along with a copyright free image or logo to email@example.com.

If you are planning to organise an event within any public park or open space within the City, you must first complete the application. Details can be found here- Parks and Open Spaces form. Once you have completed your form, please submit it to Kenny Luke, Events Officer at firstname.lastname@example.org You can also request an application form from Kenny at the above e mail address or telephone him on 01224 522956.
