Aberdeen's Tartan Week 2011 - event passed
An exciting range of events has been lined up for the week long festival, including a massed pipe band parade, the Wallace 700 ceremony, historic enactments, traditional music, a family history fair and celebrity guest appearances.
The main focal point of the Tartan Week line up will be the Tartan Parade down Union Street, which begins at 11am. Northsound DJ's John McRuvie and Cammy Campbell will be broadcasting live from Tartan Day in the city centre bringing you the best entertainment from the day.
