Clubcap
Introduction
Grampian's three local authorities and local sports councils have joined forces through Grampian Coaching to develop a Sports Club Complete Accreditation Programme (CLUBCAP) as a means of acknowledging club, which operate in a structured way and in accordance with certain criteria. The accreditation programme is a
quality assurance scheme where sports clubs work towards certain levels of achievement to prove they are running in a well organised manner. The required standards can be achieved by large and small clubs, whatever their sport.
Grampian Coaching are confident that clubs will benefit from the programme, in terms of the financial and practical benefits of accreditation, and by improving the way a club operates.
The Active Community Development Officers at Aberdeen City Council are available to assist Aberdeen based clubs through the programme and can be contacted on activecommunities@aberdeencity.gov.uk
