Do you have what it takes to be an ARC Carer?
Aberdeen City Council are recruiting professional foster carers who can look after young people aged 11-18 years old in their own homes.
These carers will be expected to care for a young person who presents the most complex needs and challenging behaviours. In providing a local service for these young people it is anticipated this will reduce the need to place some of Aberdeen's young people in residential establishments often miles away from their homes.
Professional carers will be paid a fee of £26,782. In addition to this carers will be paid an allowance for the young person in placement.
