Ready for Adventure?
Get involved in our exciting adventure activities programme this Easter, available for age groups 6-8, 9-12 and 13-16.
New! We are now running 6-8 yrs fun packed multi activity days.
Easier for parents! We have now extended our opening times to make it easier for parents to drop off and pick up their children around their work times. Please note that for full day activities the drop off time is within a 45 minute slot i.e. 8.30 - 9.15 and pick up from 16.15 - 17.00.
New! Canoeing - bring your parent: Come along for the day with your child and experience a great day out canoeing down the gentle parts of the river Dee.

Adult Activity Programmes!
We offer a range of activities for adults running throughout the course of the year. The Royal Yachting Association (RYA) Start Sailing/Basic Skills course is always very popular and early booking is advised.

50+ Activity Programme!
We have been involved in this programme of activities for more than 12 years and it has proved to be very popular. The programme is taylorerd to suit the over 50's and is supported by the Common Good Fund.

We are a well established Service of Aberdeen City Council, formally known as the Outdoor Education Service. We provide a wide range of adventurous outdoor activities to a broad and diverse client group, each with its own aims and objectives.

Outdoor Education
Outdoor Education creates unique opportunities to inspire and develop individuals and teams through experiencing adventure in challenging environments. It is a process that attracts, enthuses and enriches learning. This can be as part of a wider educational programme.
The structure of our activity sessions include evaluations and target setting and is based upon 4 key messages:

The benefits of outdoor education are well proven and its place within the curriculum for excellence will become widely recognised.

What's included?
We can provide the full package including: consultation and information, transport, equipment, professional instruction, catering, a full range of accommodation options, photographic keepsakes and certification.
Residential Centre
We have a residential base available for group bookings located in the in the Cairngorm National Park (nr Grantown on Spey) it is ideally located to reach a range of spectacular water and land based activities.
It can be used as an activity base on one of our programmes or hired privately. The Centre sleeps 36 and compromises of 7 bedrooms, dining kitchen, lounge and drying room.
