Introduction

Development Options Consultation

Prior to the production of the Main Issues Report, five events were organised across the City inviting developers to display their Development Options to the public in an open evening format in June 2009. Culter and Cults, Bieldside and Milltimber Community Councils organised two additional meetings where they invited developers to participate with the community. Mastrick and Sheddocksley Community Council organised a further meeting in July.

Main Issues Report Consultation

Publication of the Main Issues Report in October 2009 triggered the start of the formal consultation period, which ran until 11 December 2009. All of the responses submitted to us during this period can be viewed on the Response Search page, where responses are available to download in PDF format.

During the Main Issues Report consultation period, we organised a series of evening workshops across the city to allow members of the public the opportunity to discuss the proposals with us and to stimulate interest. Main Issues Report Planning Officer Responses

At the Enterprise, Planning and Infrastructure Committee on 31 May 2010, approval was given to publish our Planning Officer responses to the written submissions and the feedback from the consultation workshops we received during the consultation on the Main Issues Report.
