Flytipping

Tire on a beach

Flytipping referes to illegally leaving things that you do not want next to a road, in fields, in rivers, etc.

Flytipping is not only unsightly and detrimental to the environment; it is also an offence.  The Council currently clears an average of 446 illegally dumped items per month.

If you have unwanted household items that are too big or heavy to go in your bin, we can collect them from you. More information on this is available from Collection of Bulky Waste Items page.

Please report a concern relating to Litter, Flytipping and Street Cleanliness Online. Contact us if you have any information that may help solve an incident of illegal dumping.

Our offices are open Monday to Friday between 7.30am and 5pm.
