Waste Aware Aberdeen

Welcome to the Aberdeen City Waste Aware section.  From this area you can find information on Household Recycling and Refuse Collection services including the recycling and refuse collection service. 

You can also find information on additional services such as arranging for larger and heavy items to be collected, what to do in the event of a missed collection and what to do if you need assistance putting your bins by the side of the road. 

From this section you can also access comprehensive information on our Recycling Services, including maps to find on-street recycling bins, what can be recycled at local civic amenity sites and a detailed A-Z list of recycling options.

There is advice for business.  As the cost of waste is on the increase, minimising waste not only makes good business sense, it can also reduce risk, create markets and demonstrate a responsible approach to protecting the environment to suppliers and customers.
