Household Waste and Recycling Centres
There are four Household Waste and Recycling Centres in the city where you can deposit a wide variety of materials for recycling. See the table below for locations and further information about the collection facilities available at each site.

Sclattie Household Waste and Recycling Centre
Please note that Sclattie is now able to accept wood for recycling.
Please be aware that no public vehicles (including tipping vehicles or trailers) will get access to the lower level to dispose of any green waste or soil and rubble. This waste will only be accepted on the upper level. It is also recommended that loads be restricted to smaller quantities in manageable sized bags or containers for the unloading into the bays on the upper level.

Please note that commercial vehicles are not permitted to deposit waste at any of the city's Household Waste and Recycling Centres.
Recycling Centre opening hours:
Summer (British Summer Time)
- Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 7.45pm
- Saturday and Sunday 9am to 7.45pm
Winter
- Monday to Friday (including Public Holidays) 10am to 4.45pm
- Saturday and Sunday 9am to 4.45pm
Please note that the centres are closed on Christmas Day and New Years Day
