Weekly and extant lists of planning applications

Please note that these lists are provided solely to assist with public consultation in the planning process, and must not be utilised for any other purpose.

Weekly List

The weekly list is published on the City Council's website every Monday lunchtime and allows you to view all planning applications and, once scanned in, all associated documents that have been made to the City Council the previous week. The list also includes details of any Proposal of Application Notices that have been submitted. These are required where it is proposed that a major planning application is to be submitted at a future date.

Any person wishing to make representations regarding any of the proposals should make them either via the "submit comment" option on the application details or in writing, quoting the reference number and stating clearly the reasons for those representations, to the Head of Planning and Infrastructure at the address or email below. The lists will state the date of expiry of the period allowed for representation in any neighbour notification or advertisement period for the application.

List of extant (undetermined) applications

As a requirement of the new Development Management Regulations, the City Council has a duty to supply a list of all applications that are currently undetermined, which has to be updated on a weekly basis. This update will also be carried out on a Monday lunchtime for immediate publication on the Council's website.

Weekly lists of application and notices for works to protected trees.

The weekly list is published on the City Council's website every Monday lunchtime and allows you to view information for applications and notices for tree works to protected trees that have been made to the City Council the previous week.

Please note that no plans are made available for public inspection online for these applications and notices. Any person wishing to make representations regarding any of the proposals should make them in writing, quoting the reference number and stating clearly the reasons for those representations, to the Head of Planning and Infrastructure at the address or email below. The lists will state the date of expiry of the period allowed for making representation.


Making Representations

Any person wishing to make representations regarding any of the proposals should make them:-

  1. Via the "Comment on this application" option on the application details screen;
  2. In writing to the Head of Planning and Infrastructure at the address or e-mail below, quoting the reference number and stating clearly the reasons for those representations.

The above lists will state the date of expiry of the period allowed for representations to be made as determined by in any neighbour notification or advertisement period for the application. Information on what is accepted as a representation can be found in the comment on application guidance note. Copies of the application file can also be viewed during normal office hours (between 8.30am and 5pm Monday to Friday) at the 8th floor reception of St Nicholas House.
