Introduction

Aberdeen City Council (ACC) prepared the Aberdeen Local Plan (2008) to replace the Aberdeen City District Wide Local Plan (1991). ACC adopted the Aberdeen Local Plan (2008) on 25 June 2008.

In October 2008 ACC adopted Supplementary Planning Guidance to release sites identified in the Aberdeen Local Plan for residential development in the period 2006-10 (Phase II sites). Please view that guidance at the following link:
