Aberdeen College Learning Centre
The Aberdeen College Learning Centre is set up in partnership with Aberdeen College. It consists of 12 PCs with CD/DVD burners, USB ports and Internet access together with a booking kiosk to make your own Internet bookings. There are also 2 A4 scanners available for use, although booking is advisable. The Learning Centre is only available for public use when there are no college classes taking place.
Students can enrol for any of the following courses for April to June 2009 led by a college tutor in the Learning Centre:
- Carry on Computing: Word Beginners
- Carry on Computing: PowerPoint Beginners
- Computing for the Petrified
- ECDL Year 2 (+ Core Skills)
- Gadgets for Grownups
- Introduction to ECDL
HOW TO BOOK ONTO A COURSE
If you would like to attend an Aberdeen College Community and Lifelong Learning course you must pre-book your place at least five working days in advance of the start of the course.
To guarantee your place you can:

Payment by Credit/Debit card, VISA/MasterCard/Delta/Switch.
Book by post
Return the Booking form (download at www.abcol.ac.uk/community, or pick up a copy at your local Learning Centre, Community Centre or Library) using FREEPOST to: Part-time Admissions Office, Aberdeen College, FREEPOST AB580, Gallowgate Centre, ABERDEEN, AB25 1ZQ. Payment by Cheque/Postal Order, ILA account or fee waiver.
Course places are allocated on a 'first come' basis so you may wish to return the form by first class mail during peak periods.

Visit Aberdeen College Information & Booking Centre, Gallowgate Centre, Aberdeen. Opening hours: Mon-Thurs, 9.00am-6.00pm, Fri, 10.00am-3.45pm, Sat 9.00am-1.00pm. Or visit the Learning Centre in Peterhead, 4 Marischal St, Peterhead. Mon - Fri, 9.00am - 5.00pm, Sat 9am - 12 midday.
