The messages claim to be from the Council and ask recipients to follow a link where they can apply for a council tax refund. The Council does not send out text messages of this nature and anyone receiving one should contact the Council on 0845 6080922 or Police Scotland on 101.

The Festival has grown from its home in Union Terrace Gardens to incorporate additional city centre sites including St Nicholas Kirkyard, Marischal College and Seventeen (Belmont St), and will feature major public realm and gallery installations alongside new experimental works from the creative community.
