A History of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire
We have created a timeline of events in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire from 1179 - the year Aberdeen was confirmed as a Royal Burgh. Featuring both local events and events of national significance, the timeline can be viewed by sliding the bar along the bottom to the left and right.
