Document of the Month
During 2008 and 2009, we ran a 'Document of the Month' feature. We chose various items from our collections, and provided both background detail and transcriptions, if required.However, at the end of 2009 we decided to no longer run the feature, and instead find new ways to show off our collections. 2010 saw our first Online Exhibition, about the Homefront in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire, some of the Aberdeen City burial registers appear on Deceased Online and our Online Catalogue was launched. Later on in the year we appeared on Facebook.
We are working on various different projects, including a timeline showing A History of Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire from 1179 onwards. You can view the Documents of the Month from January 2008 to December 2009 by following the links below. Enjoy!
