School Records
School admission registers and headteachers' log books for around 500 schools across the North East are available at Aberdeen City Archives. Of the three guides available currently, the first lists the schools alphabetically by their location and second by their name. The third shows modern catchment areas for schools in Aberdeen City, which can be used to try and identify which school someone may have attended depending on their address. Please not that this guide is modern, and that some schools may not have existed or have changed their name.
