How does Dial-a-Bus work?

Dial-a-Bus serves the whole of Aberdeen City, but it does not operate in Aberdeenshire.  It operates seven days a week and journeys may be made between 9.30am-10pm.

Journeys can be pre-booked, up to one week in advance of the date you wish to travel, but no later than the day before travelling.  Bookings are made on a first come first served basis and are subject to availability.

You can book a single or same day return journey, but as Dial-a-Bus is a bus service, you may not be taken straight to your destination; the bus could be scheduled to collect other passengers en route.

How much does it cost?

Return journeys:

  • £3.00 per person
  • £2.00 per person *

Single journeys:

  • £2.00 per person
  • £1.00 per person *

* for Concession Card/TaxiCard holders or for a companion required by the passenger.

How do I book a journey?
