Holmes Partnership - Design Team

As one of Scotland's most respected architectural practices, Holmes has a reputation for delivering innovative and intelligent solutions.

With offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh, Holmes works with clients across all sectors, including residential, commercial, education, industrial and custodial. A £500 million workload includes major residential regeneration projects, city centre and business park commercial developments, and an extensive school building programme for six Scottish local authority clients.

Holmes has a very experienced and specialist team of over 50 staff, operating out of two well-resourced and efficient offices in Glasgow and Edinburgh. With an ongoing programme of in-house continuing professional development training, full Investors in People accreditation, advance communication and technical systems, and even an annual office architectural study trip to a European city, Holmes can claim to have an almost unrivalled stable and committed work force.

Holmes has a commitment to the promotion of sustainable design and construction. This extends to the adoption of 4D environmental modelling design software (perhaps the first architectural practice in the UK to do so) to provide holistic sustainable design in any sector of the built environment.

Recent and ongoing projects include the redevelopment of the former Hawkhead Hospital site, near Paisley, and the redevelopment of an A-listed city centre bank building in Glasgow, 110 St. Vincent Street.
