Council Tax and Housing Benefit Fraud
From 1st of April 2015, responsibility for the prevention and detection of Housing and Council Tax benefit fraud passed from Aberdeen City Council to the Department of Work and Pensions.
If you have a suspicion that someone is committing benefit fraud, there are a number of ways to report it to the Department of Work and Pensions:

Please be assured that any information you provide will be treated as strictly confidential and at no time will it be divulged to the benefit recipient. There are provisions contained in the Data Protection Act 1998 that allow us to restrict the information we supply if the benefit claimant submits a subject access request.
