Stoneywood School Public Consultations

As part of the consultation process two public meetings will be held to discuss proposals to create a new school building, which would be operational from the start of the 2017/18 academic year (August 2017), or as soon as possible thereafter. The location of the building will be confirmed following the completion of this statutory consultation exercise.

The proposal includes the rezoning of ground to the north of the A96 trunk road, which is currently within the Brimmond School zone to Stoneywood School, with effect from August 2015.

Convener of Education and Children's Services Councillor Angela Taylor said: "The views of parents, pupils and staff and the wider community are crucial to this process. I would encourage everyone with an interest in this proposal to take part in the consultation process."

  • 7pm-8pm, on Wednesday 04 March, at Stoneywood School, Stoneywood Road, Stoneywood;
