Equality Outcomes and Mainstreaming Report 2015-2017

Aberdeen City Council has just launched its Equality Outcomes for 2015-17. Council services will work with partners and the involvement of communities and voluntary organisations to deliver action so that these outcomes are translated into reality and make a difference to the lives of all our citizens. Our new Equality Outcomes for 2015-2017 are:

  • 11.A Human Rights based culture within our organisation
  • 12.Education Equality Outcomes

a)Improved opportunities for life long learning

b)Reduced gap in educational attainment between pupils

c)Improved awareness, knowledge and understanding of diversity and equality

d)Gender stereotyping challenged to ensure that the promotion of diversity and equality permeates the curriculum
