How can we help you...

Access to Information - What's Available

Our Website

We regularly publish a wide range of information on all Council services on our website. Our A - Z of Services is a good starting point.

Or you can use the Search facility (in the top right hand corner of the page) to look for key words and phrases.

We may not be able to make all information available on our website and there may be several reasons for this. To find out more on this see our section on Exemptions and Exceptions.

Our Disclosure Log

You might find what you are looking for in our Disclosure Log if someone has already asked for it. The Disclosure Log is a list of information requests we have received and answered, grouped by the year the request was made, then by topic.

Quick Links

In the Access to Information pages we've put together a 'quick links' section on the right hand side of each page. These links will direct you to some of the most commonly requested information that is published by the Council.

Publication Scheme

You can find out more about our Publication Scheme and the guide to it, including what it costs to make paper copies of information.

Where Aberdeen City Council holds the copyright in its published information, the information may be copied or reproduced without formal permission, provided that:

  • it is copied or reproduced accurately
  • it is not used in a misleading context, and
  • the source of the material is identified.

If Aberdeen City Council does not hold the copyright in any information we publish, we will make this clear.

Ask for Information

If you can't find what you are looking for in any of the areas above, see our  Ask for Information section.  You can also contact us if you cannot, or do not want to, access information you do find online.
