ABERDEEN CITY COUNCIL IS PROPOSING TO:

Re-zone the former BP Headquarters part of the Stoneywood School catchment area to Dyce School and consequently from Bucksburn Academy to Dyce Academy, with implementation from August 2014..


Pupils who are resident in the area of the former BP Headquarters currently attending Stoneywood School or Bucksburn Academy will continue to attend these schools until such time as they reach the end of the school career at that school or their parents/carers decide upon seeking alternative provision.

 

A period of statutory consultation commences on 13 January 2014 and ends on 28 February 2014.  

Public Meeting

A public consultation meeting will be held on:

Monday 27 January 2014 from 19.00 to 20.30 at Dyce Academy.

Other requests from relevant partner organisations will be considered by officers as appropriate.

A copy of the statutory consultation document will be available for public consultation during the period of consultation at the following venues:

All submissions shall be published on the Aberdeen City Council web site and within subsequent reports to committee. Respondents are requested to avoid the inclusion of personal information such as children's names, medical conditions etc within their responses.

All submissions expressing views on the proposals detailed in this document should be made in writing or by email by 5.00pm Friday 28 February, 2014.
It is intended to respond to issues raised from correspondence within a report presented to the Education, Culture and Sport Committee.
