Access from the North - Consultation 2009 - ARCHIVE, CONSULTATION CLOSED

Aberdeen Access from the North - An Integrated Transport Solution and The Berryden Corridor

A previous consultation called "Access From the North Proposals (Third Don Crossing)"  can be found by here: Access from the North Proposals 3rd Don Crossing

The Council consulted on the above key proposals to improve transport access to Aberdeen from the north. The objective of the 'Aberdeen Access from the North - An Integrated Transport Solution' study is to identify a package of integrated transport measures that will seek to improve access from the North to the City Centre. The measures identified will aim to reduce journey times and minimise congestion for all modes of traffic, with particular focus on developing opportunities for sustainable transport. The objective of the 'Berryden Corridor' study complements those of the Access from the North and aims to produce an integrated transport infrastructure for the Berryden Corridor which addresses the needs of all transport users. The consultation closed on 3 July 2009. For details of each study and drawings of the proposals please click on the following links:

A series of public exhibitions was held and a questionnaire for feedback either in pdf format or online was available.
