Safer Aberdeen

A significant proportion of crime and disorder takes place in our city centre.  Safer Aberdeen is a specially developed council-led initiative to focus on the prevention of crime.  Safer Aberdeen has been developed for businesses and retailers within the city and has been modeled on similar successful operations in other Scottish cities.

Initiative Aim

To make Aberdeen a safe and secure environment where people can live, work and socialise day and night without fear of becoming a victim of crime.

Safer Aberdeen works closely with police and other agencies to highlight the needs of businesses and retailers with the aim of reducing crime.  Our key strategic partners are:
