Workshops for Older People – over 50’s

50+ Workshops

Listed below are workshops for Older People, which are funded by the Common Good Fund. This year our programme is more extensive and includes workshops at Duthie Park, Airyhall Community School, Broomhill Activity Centre, Clifton Road Activity Centre and WhiteSpace.

Creative Stitchery @ Duthie Park

Whether you're new to stitchery and embroidery or a more experienced sewer, you'll find something to suit on these workshops.

  • Tuesdays: January 26 - March 16; 10am - 12noon
  • Wednesdays: January 27 - March 17; 10am - 12noon
  • Wednesdays: January 27 - March 17; 1.30-3.30pm
  • 8 weeks; £16

Drawing & Painting @ Duthie Park

Make the most of your drawing and painting skills whilst working with a local artist in a relaxed and friendly environment.

  • Mondays: January 18 – March 22; 10am - 1pm or 1.30pm – 4.30pm
  • Thursdays: January 21 – March 25; 10am - 1pmor 1:30 – 4.30pm
  • Fridays: January 22 – March 26; 10am - 1pm
  • 10 weeks; £20

Drawing & Painting @ WhiteSpace

Make the most of your drawing and painting skills whilst working with a local artist in a relaxed and friendly environment.

  • Wednesdays: January 20 – March 24; 1.30 - 3.30pm
  • 10 weeks; £20

Woodcarving @ WhiteSpace

Explore the possibilities in this wood-sculpting workshop, working with traditional tools in an innovative way.

  • Sundays: January 31 - March 28;
    1 – 5pm
    5 weeks; £20
