Vibrant Aberdeen
'Vibrant Aberdeen' is the city's Cultural Strategy for 2010 - 15. It has been produced by Aberdeen's Cultural Forum following an extensive consultation process, which included major input from city residents and a wide range of local and national stakeholders.
The Strategy aims to provide a framework to improve the cultural life of the city; it sets out the city's strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats, before identifying a series of objectives, key requirements and strategic actions, including developing a bid for UK City of Culture in 2017. Furthermore, as this document is overarching, it has provided the basis for developing and monitoring individual Action Plans which align to the city's priorities.
If you would like support to develop an Action Plan based on your activities in line with the city's priorities, officers are happy to provide support. Please contact us for further information.
