Citymoves is the dance agency for North East Scotland, nurturing and supporting the work of emerging and established dance artists, groups, tutors, creators and companies, and taking a lead role in dance development in the city and the North East.

At Citymoves studio in Aberdeen City Centre, we run a variety of dance classes, workshops and performance groups as well a raising the profile of dance and providing an information and meeting point for dancers and choreographers.

Citymoves runs a wide variety of inclusive dance activities for people of all ages and abilities, including ballet, tap, jazz, creative, contemporary, traditional and world dances and health and wellbeing classes, encouraging participation as a creative, social and life-enhancing activity. Classes and workshops in the studio attract participants from a fifty mile radius of the City. Classes and workshops are also run at outreach venues throughout Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire.

Citymoves is part of Aberdeen City Council's Education, Culture & Sport Service and is Foundation funded by the Scottish Arts Council.
