Cultivate [Volunteer Skills Award 4]

Creative Learning are seeking creative individuals aged 16 to 25 years, who are interested in developing their personal and artistic skills whilst gaining practical volunteer experience within the creative sector in Aberdeen City. This exciting fully funded opportunity will ideally suit individuals with a keen interest in pursuing a career in the arts.
Cultivate Volunteer Programme
Cultivate is facilitated by experienced creative practitioners who will provide practical training and support throughout the programme to:

  • Assist you to build on your skills and confidence working towards a SQA volunteer accreditation
  • Gain practical experience working alongside a range of creative practitioners
  • Connect with cultural organisations across the city.

Cultivate is run by Creative Learning and provides structured training and support for Cultivate volunteers. The Cultural Partners are services within Aberdeen City Council who will enable a range of relevant volunteer experiences, culminating in a youth exhibition and associated activities programme at Seventeen Creative Hub to celebrate 'Year of Young People 2018'.

 

 

Key dates

Cultivate will take place fortnightly Thursdays, 10-2pm, at Rosemount Community Centre and various venues in Aberdeen. Additional dates will be required as part of your volunteer experience in March 2018.
