Aberdeen City Council offer a number of activities and services to assist your business to become more sustainable. Services range from 1-to-1 visits to identify development areas; assistance with recruitment of new staff; topical skills development workshops and informal networking sessions with a wide range of speakers.

Positive Procurement Programme

The Positive Procurement Programme (PPP) is a joint initiative between Aberdeen City and Aberdeenshire Councils. Its purpose is to support local businesses to develop their capacity to bid successfully for public procurement contracts.

The PPP offers training and networking opportunities. The training will cover introductory and intermediate levels, which will be of interest to businesses new to public procurement and to those who wish to develop their current practice.

Becoming a supplier brings challenges and opportunities and the PPP provides real support and guidance. By making a small investment of time businesses can acquire new information and insights into the tendering process. Networking events and evening seminars will be hosted monthly by the Employability Skills and Community Enterprise Team. Each event will focus on a key topics and feature an expert in the field who will deliver a short presentation followed by a Q&A session.
