Learn Direct

The Arts Development team has now been given Learn Direct branding which enables learners with Individual Learning Accounts to participate in Art Development workshops at a reduced price. ILA Scotland is a Scottish Government scheme that helps you pay for learning that you can do at a time, place, pace and in a way to suit you. It's for people who have an income of £18,000 a year or less, or who are on benefits.

Learn Direct Workshops

Mixed Media

This course is designed to introduce the learner to working with various mediums including combining acrylic with acrylic, watercolour, inks, pencil work and images. This course will familiarise the learner with the working practices, materials and processes used in mixed media.

Tuesdays: 21 April - 23 June; 10:30am -12:30pm

Introduction to Jewellery

This course is designed to teach the learner a wide variety of techniques and finishing processes in silver and non-precious metals. Suitable for beginners, you will be encouraged to develop your own ideas and carry them through to finished pieces.

Thursdays: 23 April - 25 June; 1.30 - 3.30pm
