Adult Lending
The Central Adult Lending Library is situated on 2 floors and stocks a wide range of fiction, from the latest best sellers to world classics, as well as an extensive range of non-fiction.
It has disabled access to all floors. Wheel chair access via the ramp at the right-hand side of the main entrance steps. Ask at the main desk for assistance to gain lift access to the Mezzanine Floor.
We provide the following services: 
- Public Internet and E-mail facilities - 15 minute Express Internet Service only.
- Reservations - taken for any item of library stock. There is a charge for this service.
- Inter-Library Loans - taken for items not held in library stock providing they are obtainable. There is a charge for this service
- Photocopying facilities - card operated machine. Cards available from main desk.
- Author visits, talks and workshops - as advertised.

Storm - poetry from the North East including work by the Dead Good Poets Society
Pushing Out the Boat - a collection of new writing from the Northeast - Local post and lettercards
