 “Council wishes the very best of luck to the Scottish Schools Debating Team as they bid to defend their title at the World Schools Debating Championships in Washington between 5 – 15 September and is delighted to see that 3 out of the 5 team members, Joanna Farmer of Robert Gordon’s College and Natalie Smith and Rachel Watson of Aberdeen Grammar School, hail from Aberdeen, which underlines the talent which exists among the city’s young people.”
