 Members and Officers are asked to note that the presentation by Mike Culshaw, Depute Director Planning and Environmental Appeals, Scottish Government is scheduled to take place within Committee Rooms 2/3 immediately following the meeting of the Planning Committee.  The subject of Mr. Culshaw’s talk relates to the changes to be introduced in the way planning appeals are to be processed under the new, modernised planning system of the Planning, Etc. (Scotland) Act 2006.  He will also speak on the new culture which reporters will be seeking to create around the appeals process.
