Tickets go on sale for city’s popular tea dances

Tickets are now on sale for this year’s programme of popular tea dances at Aberdeen’s Beach Ballroom.

All are subsidised by the Common Good Fund, feature live music and take place between 1.30pm and 4pm.

First is the Easter Tea Dance featuring the Garioch Blend Band on Wednesday 4 April, followed on 6 June by the Summer Dance with the Frank Thomson Band.

On 10 October, the Ambassadors — Aberdeen’s biggest band — will take the stage during the city’s Seniors in the City Older People’s Festival, and the year will be rounded off on 5 December when Last Resort entertain at the Christmas Tea Dance.
