Aberdeens Town House is opening its doors to raise money for Macmillan Cancer Support tomorrow [Friday, 25 September] by taking part in the charitys Worlds Biggest Coffee morning.
A Cuppa with a Conscience takes place in the Town House Dining Room on Broad Street, between 9.30 - 11.00am, and is open to everyone.
Councillor Jennifer Stewart, chairwoman of the Fairtrade Working Group which organised the event said: We hope people will come along and help us raise hundreds of pounds towards Macmillan's target of over £8.5million for people affected by cancer.
Aberdeen has been a Fairtrade City for over four years and all teas and coffees on offer will be Fairtrade to demonstrate commitment to this achievement.
Organisers have asked those attending to bring their own mug or cup, though cups will be available for those unable to bring their own.
