Garden waste collections to stop for winter

The garden waste collection service is to end for the season next month.

Last year, the service continued year-round, but demand dropped off to such an extent that it has been decided that not to provide it year-round again. This year the service will be brought to a close at the end of December.

The final brown bin collection dates vary across the city, but the Waste Aware calendars issued to households state the final date for each area. Alternatively, call the Waste Line on 08456 080919 for further information about your final collection dates.
