New telephone number for citizens to ask for graffiti removal

Citizens can now call the corporate contact centre to request the removal of graffiti.

Calls for this service will be taken on the environmental line, 08456 08 09 19.

The environmental line can also be used to report a fault with roads or streetlights or to request an uplift of bulky items. Information on recycling and bin collections is also available through the contact centre.

The centre is open from 7.30am – 5pm, Monday to Friday. Contact telephone numbers are –

Waste Aware – 08456 08 09 19:
roads and street lighting – 08456 09 19;
environmental services – 08456 08 09 19.

Queries about housing repairs and environmental service emergencies outwith contact centre opening hours should be made on (01224) 480281 and road and street lighting emergencies should be reported on (01224) 693350.
