25/11/08

Aberdeen City Council and Aberdeenshire Council are offering companies the opportunity to share their stand space at the Offshore Technology Conference (OTC) in Houston next spring.

The benefits of exhibiting on the stand at the 4 – 7 May, 2009 conference include:

  • a reduced rate on exhibition space;
  • a key position within the Scottish Pavilion at OTC;
  • prominent positioning of the organisation’s logo on the stand’s exhibition graphics;
  • freight forwarding service at no extra charge;
  • a stand staffed at all times;
  • an invitation to key networking events at OTC 09 organised by Aberdeen City and Shire, Scottish Development International and UK Trade & Investment.

OTC is one of the largest offshore oil and gas conferences in the world, playing host to 2,500 exhibitors and 75,000 registered delegates from more than 110 countries.

The exhibition showcases the latest advances and discoveries in the offshore industry – and offers one of the best platforms for companies to promote their products and services, engage on an international level with industry, develop commercial relationships and discover solutions to key issues in the offshore industry.

The offer to exhibit on the Aberdeen City and Shire stand is open to all companies with a local base and which offer products or services within the oil and gas market. Priority will be given to small and medium-sized enterprises which are developing their international business and have not previously had stand space.

Any firm interested in applying to be part of the Aberdeen City and Shire stand should contact Sarah Hillyear on shillyear@aberdeencity.gov.uk, tel (01224) 814606. The deadline for the submission of applications is 2 December 2008.
