City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10k Race and Fun Run

The organising team would like to invite you to take part in this year's City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10K Race and Family Fun Run.

The event includes a 10K Wheelchair Race and Family Fun Run as well as the 10K race, a well established race in Aberdeen and for many runners the highlight of their season.

The course for this Scottish Athletics permit event is based around Aberdeen's Beach and Harbour area and has some spectacular views of the North Sea and the iconic Beach Ballroom on the route of the course.

Entry is limited to the first 4,000 runners so apply early to avoid disappointment, entries will not be accepted on the  day of the race. All Entrants will receive a race t-shirt.

The City of Aberdeen Baker Hughes 10k attracts all types of entries, from the serious runners who are in it to win it, to the Corporate Group who enter to raise money for charity or simply the person who wants to use the event as motivation to get fit.

The Fun Run is a short route (750 Metres approx), starting beside the official starting line and finishing at the official 10k finish line. Entries for the Fun Run are taken on the day.

If you haven't already considered running for a charity, why not run for one of the eight Charities involved in this years event. Or run for a charity that may be close to you and help them raise some money on behalf of your efforts.

If you are planning to take part or are thinking about entering, why not persuade family, friends or work colleagues to take part with you.
