Charities

The following Charities have been selected as the preferred charities to the event. The charities will be providing marshals and other helpers on enable the event to be an enjoyable experience for all the participants involved. Please consider if you would like to the run the event and raise funds for these worthy causes:

Alzheimer Scotland

Provides care, understanding and support for people with dementia and their carers.

Bethany Christian Trust

Giving homeless and vulnerable people hope and a future.

CHAS

The Children's Hospice Association of Scotland (CHAS) is a Scottish charity that provides the only hospice services in Scotland for children and young people with life-limiting conditions.

Children 1st

Across Scotland, we work with children and families to help them change  their lives for the better. We support families under stress, protect  children from harm and neglect and  help them to recover from abuse and promote children's rights and interests. 

Clan

Cancer support centre based in Aberdeen offering free support services to anyone affected by cancer, whether personally or as carers / relatives throughout the North East, Orkney and Shetland.

Erskine

Provides specialist permanent and respite nursing care for over 1200 ex service men and women of all ages throughout Scotland including Aberdeen.

Inspire

Supports around 600 children, young people and adults with learning disabilities in North East Scotland, offering opportunities for an excellent quality of life. 

Sue Ryder Care Aberdeen

Provides specialist long term and respite neurological care for people with conditions such as Multiple Sclerosis and Huntington's Disease.
