Active Aberdeen Festival
The first Active Aberdeen Festival funded by EventScotland and Aberdeen City Council will take place in Aberdeen from Monday 22 October to Sunday 18 November 2012. The programme is part of the Games for Scotland, which is managed by EventScotland and forms a key part of the Scottish Government's commitment to deliver a lasting legacy as a result of the Commonwealth Games coming to Scotland.
Sport Aberdeen and its partners, Aberdeen Sports Village and RGU:Sport are proud to announce a month long Festival of sport, physical activity and dance.
With a variety of activities available for all ages across the city, there is something for everyone. Activities include commonwealth games sports athletics, badminton, judo, netball, hockey, swimming and table tennis plus much more.
So there is no excuse if you fancy trying a new sport/activity or getting back into a sport/activity take a look at the Active Aberdeen Festival Programme.
There is a charge for some of the activities but many are FREE. Participants should check with individual event organisers for further details and any booking arrangements.
