Your Christmas tree can go a long, long way…but only if you remember to recycle it!
It may have lost its festive cheer, but we can use your Christmas tree to make wood chipping and mulch to use in your public parks and gardens. Please help us get it sorted by having your Christmas tree recycled in one of the following ways.
Wheeled bin Kerbside Collections
Residents with wheeled bins will have a Kerbside collection of Christmas trees from Wednesday 7th to the 13th of January 2009 ONLY. Please place your Christmas tree out for collection with your refuse bin on your normal collection day during this period.
As these will be collected by a recycling vehicle the collection times WILL vary from your refuse collections so please be sure to place your bin and tree out for collection by 7:30 on your collection day to avoid disappointment.
Any trees not collected in the collection times above will have to be collected as a bulky collection which will incur a charge so please be sure to have your trees out at the correct time.
Dyce Pilot Area
